The HealthCare Connection invites area residents to participate in the 5K Walk to Wellness - Spring Into Health! set for May 17, 2008. The organization is pleased to again partner with co-sponsor Hamilton County Park District and hold its annual walk in Glenwood Gardens on Springfield Pike in Woodlawn.
New sponsor Fleet Feet will join other vendors at the health fair that is also open to participants and guests. The HealthCare Connection, Ohio’s oldest community health center, welcomes Jack Atherton, WXIX-Fox 19 news anchor, as honorary walk chair and Lincoln Ware, radio host on The Buzz-WBDZ as “Walkmaster” at the event. Registration begins at 8:45am with the walk start at 10:00am.
