Starting as a dream by forward-thinking community leaders, the Hamilton County Park District has grown and improved for over 75 years to become a regional leader in parks and recreation. Throughout its history, the Park District has been guided by its mission to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education for present and future generations. Today, the Park District has 21 great parks, spanning more than 16,000 acres.
To help us grow our Great Parks, the Hamilton County Park District has established the Hamilton County Parks Foundation. The Foundation will support the Park District in furthe ring its mission by establishing an additional strong funding source. By contributing to the Hamilton County Foundation, you can help to continue the critical work of preserving nature and providing great parks in the Cincinnati/Hamilton County Region.
The Foundation will gratefully accept contributions for its general endowment fund. You may also earmark your contributions for preserving land, supporting educational programs, or constructing and endowing facilities that will enhance the quality of life in Hamilton County. The Foundation is prepared to accept contributions of cash, gifts of property, stocks and bequests in any amount.
The Hamilton County Parks Foundation is a charitable organization with the sole purpose of assisting the Hamilton County Park District in acquiring, protecting and enhancing regional parkland and providing outstanding outdoor recreation and nature education services. The Hamilton County Parks Foundation is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501C (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the Hamilton County Parks Foundation are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
