Food Service Attendant II
Hamilton County Park District is accepting applications for Food Service Attendant II at Mill Race Banquet Center in Winton Woods and Stonewood Banquet Center in Sharon Woods. This is a seasonal position. Applicants must be available weekends. The Food Service Attendant II provides prompt and courteous service to customers of food service facility; fills orders of food and beverages; rings sales on cash register; handles money; maintains clean and sanitary work area; performs janitorial duties; represents the Park District in a positive and professional manner; consistently applies food service conduct policy; sells alcohol. Qualified applicants must be at least 19 years of age and have a high school education. Must dress according to policy guidelines, be able to stand for extended periods of time and work well with others. Starting pay rate is between $7.22 - $9.02 per hour. EOE
Glenwood Gardens Operations Technician
Hamilton County Park District is accepting applications for Seasonal Operations Technicians at Glenwood Gardens in Woodlawn. Positions work 20-40 hours per week from March through October. Applicants need to be available weekdays and some weekends, beginning at 6:30 am. Responsibilities include performing various grounds and landscape maintenance tasks to park areas; operating a variety of park equipment; picking up litter, performing routine janitorial duties, and landscape garden care and installation skills. Qualifications: A high school education or equivalent work experience in grounds maintenance and/or landscaping. Ability to: perform manual work for extended periods of time; work well with others and follow instructions. Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Starting pay rate is $8.77 per hour. EOE
Golf Service Specialist
Hamilton County Park District is accepting applications for Golf Service Specialist at Little Miami Golf Center in Newtown. Position is seasonal and requires weekend and evening availability. Greets and serves customers to ensure satisfaction. Assists in locating specific golf related merchandise, answers inquiries and provides information regarding price, merchandise, etc. Rings up sales on cash register; arranges merchandise; takes inventory ; maintains cleanliness and orderliness of golf shop, restrooms, clubhouse areas, displays, shelves, fixtures and work areas; sweeps and mops floors, dusts furniture, empties wastebaskets, etc.; handles service requests by customers. Requirements: completion of high school education and demonstrable interest in golf; ability to perform manual labor; have a pleasant manner; ability to follow oral and written instructions; arrange items in alphabetical, numerical and subject order; basic math skills. Must be at least 18 years of age. Pay range is $7.58 - $10.00 per hour. EOE
Parky’s Farm Attendant
Hamilton County Park District is accepting applications for Parky’s Farm Attendant at Parky’s Farm in Winton Woods. This position supervises play activities of visiting public at "Parky's Playbarn”; provides pony rides; supervises, coordinates and hosts reserved birthday parties at Parky's Farm, including party set up and clean up; may drive tractor and supervise hayrides; may perform retail cash register checkout; inventory stocking; clerical tasks; performs daily cleaning and maintenance of the facility. Qualified applicants will be able to perform manual labor for extended periods of time and have the ability to communicate well with others and be available on weekends. Must be at least 16 years of age. Driving tasks require employee to be 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. Starting pay is $7.58 per hour. EOE
