Located along Wooster Pike east of downtown Cincinnati and north of Beechmont levy, this 323-acre riverside park is scheduled to open to the public in summer, 2006.
In February, 2005, the Hamilton County Park District, the Cincinnati Park Board and the Cincinnati Recreation Commission signed a cooperative agreement to improve Armleder Park. This partnership enables CRC to develop irrigated soccer fields, multi-purpose field, playground, hub building including concessions, picnic shelter and restrooms, park entrance road, parking and community event space. These improvements will be open to the public in the summer of 2006.
The Hamilton County Park District will develop a 1.89 mile paved loop trail (multi-use), dog park, trail head shelter, park road, parking areas during Phase One of its improvements, scheduled to take place during 2005 and 2006. Phase Two improvements will include a canoe landing, river overlook and interpretive signage. Phase Three improvements will include additional paved trails, trail bridge over Duck Creek, paved trail connection to Lunken Bike Trail and picnic shelters. In addition, the Hamilton County Park District Rangers will patrol Armleder Park.
