Winton Woods

With trails, fishing, horseback riding, golfing, camping and loads of picnic areas and playgrounds, Winton Woods has something for everyone outdoors.

The 2,555-acre park has reservable picnic areas and shelters with Great Parks Catering available. Winton Woods also offers an 18-hole disc golf course, 2.6 miles of paved trails, a 1.1 mile fitness trail, 0.7 mile Great Oaks and 1.1 mile Kingfisher nature trails, basketball courts, and a horse trail.

The other course in Winton Woods is more of a golf teaching facility. PGA Professionals offer hands-on instruction to all ages. The award-winning facility offers a 9-hole mid-length course, a covered and heated practice tee and a natural turf practice area.

Winton Woods Riding Center

The Winton Woods Riding Center (WWRC) is horseback riding lesson facility with well-trained and experienced staff who teach different styles of riding to beginners through advanced riders. The WWRC is also home to horse shows, horse day camps, trail rides, a Special Rider’s Program and Special Olympics equestrian training and competition.
