Point System
Changes made in 2006 to the Point System will continue to be used for the 2008 Horse Show Series. Each rider in a given class will be awarded one (1) participation point for entering, and one (1) point for every rider that he/she placed above. For example, if there are seven riders in a class, the second place rider would receive six (6) points (1 participation + 5 points for 5 riders he/she placed above). Any ties will be broken base on the number of first place ribbons, second place ribbons, etc., that the riders have been awarded. Students placing in open classes will have points kept separately for open/student classes.
