2009 Motor Vehicle Permit

A valid Motor Vehicle Permit is required to enter the parks. An annual permit is $5.00; Hamilton County residents can receive the $5.00 resident reward certificate, redeemable at the Riding Center, snack bars, gift shops and golf courses.

Kid's Practice Free - New for 2009:

  • Kids Practice Free on the Natural Turf practice area at Meadow Links & Golf Academy when accompanied by a paying parent or grandparent.
  • Valid April through September on weekends after 5:00 p.m. (After 3:00 p.m. in October).
  • Junior golfer receives one hour of free time hitting balls and ½ hour of time on the putting green.
  • Meadow Links & Golf Academy has been recognized as one of the “Top 100 Golf Ranges in America”.

Head Professional

June
20 - Father/Child Classic - $30.00 per team
What better way to start Father’s Day weekend than playing a few holes of golf? Fathers and their children will enjoy a fun 9 hole event comprised of 3 holes Scramble format, 3 holes Best Ball format, and 3 holes Alternate Shot format. Entry fee must be paid to enter and includes greens fees and prizes. Tee times begin at 8:00 a.m. Deadline to register is June 17. Divisions are as follows:

  • Gold Tees: Boys under 10 and Girls under 14
  • White Tees: Boys 10-13 and Girls 14-17
  • Blue Tees: Boys 14-17 and Fathers

July
10 - Senior/Junior Scramble - $30.00 per team
Entry fee must be paid to enter and includes greens fees and prizes. Gross and Net winners. Eligibility for Seniors is man or lady 50 years of age or older. For Juniors it is boy or girl under 18 years of age. Deadline to register is July 7. Divisions are as follows:

  • Gold Tees: Boys under 10; Girls under 14 and Ladies 60 or older
  • White Tees: Boys 10-13; Girls 14-17; Ladies 50-59 and Men 60 or older
  • Blue Tees: Boys 14-17 and Men 50-59
 

Matt StarrMatt Starr - Matt is currently in his fifth full year as the Head Golf Professional at Meadow Links. He has worked here since he was 16 years old and was the Assistant Professional for four years prior to becoming the Head Pro.

As a PGA professional, Matt tries to make sure his students build a solid framework of the fundamentals while practicing and playing. Realizing that each student is different and unique, he tries to help each student meet and achieve their individual goals. Matt has worked with a variety of players ranging in skill and knowledge of the game, but truly enjoys his work with junior golfers.
