Start the year off on the right foot by becoming a member of the Walk Club, sponsored by the Hamilton County Park District, Senior Care Preferred Plus of The Christ Hospital and Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky! Join us for the 2013 Walk Club Kick-off at Winton Centre on Wednesday, March 13 at 11:00a.m. Come and meet old friends and make new ones! Bring a brown bag lunch and an optional healthy side dish to share. We will end the event with a walk around Winton Lake.
The Walk Club is a great way to get and stay motivated to exercise in a safe and friendly environment. Our free, flexible exercise program is designed for adults age 50 and over. Participants choose how many days a week they wish to walk and how often! The walks are led by Hamilton County Park District volunteers and take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 8:30 a.m. in the following parks: Miami Whitewater Forest, Farbach-Werner Nature Preserve, Sharon Woods, Winton Woods and Fernbank Park.
