- The Hamilton County Park District relies on many dedicated individuals who donate their time and talents to the Park District.
- Volunteers-In-Parks, Inc. (VIPs) assist with
a variety of projects that would otherwise not be possible without
their help.
- VIPs help staff the Visitor Centers and assist with nature projects such as the prairie plant nursery, biological stream monitoring and trail maintenance.
- VIPs play an essential role in the daily operation of Nature's Niche Gift & Book Shops, the "Wedding Setting" and Highwood Lodge at Withrow Nature Preserve.
- VIPs assist with the Park District's large special events and Naturalist programs.
