Throughout its history, the Hamilton County Park District has been guided by its mission to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education for present and future generations. The Park District operates 21 parks, 7 golf courses, and more than 16,000 acres of park land. Volunteers have and will continue to play an integral role in maintaining these lands and assisting the Hamilton County Park District in achieving its mission.
It’s fun, rewarding and easy to get involved. All you need to become a Park District volunteer is enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a desire to share with others. Work schedules are flexible and depend on your chosen volunteer path, the park you work in, and your own individual schedule. No previous training or work experience is needed in most areas.
